Art and technology have continually influenced one another, shaping the conditions through which we perceive and experience the world. Today, the shift from digital technologies and networks toward artificial intelligence is further expanding the role of technology into cognition, judgment, and creative practice, reshaping the conditions in which human experience and perception take place.
Within these changes, it becomes increasingly important not only to develop the ability to engage with technology, but also to reflect on what we experience and how we perceive and recognize the world. As the relationship between humans and technology becomes increasingly fluid, continued inquiry into how the conditions of sensation, perception, recognition, and experience are changing becomes essential.
